To implement the above, Management supports and continuously applies the basic principles and rules that govern the Company’s IMS by establishing objective goals for quality/information security, based on the full and constructive cooperation of both its employees and partners.
The basic principles as expressed within the Company’s IMS procedures are:
• Compliance with legislative and regulatory provisions related to its activities
• Recognition of requirements as well as the consequent needs of clients
• Conformity to the requirements of ISO9001:2015 and ISO/IEC27001:2022 standards
• Continuous customer support after sales as well as constructive cooperation with all partners
• Continuous information and training of personnel
• Investigation of causes of non-conformities or complaints and the further determination of corrective actions
• Protection of its interests and those who transact with it and trust it for the use and circulation of their confidential data
• Ensuring the availability, integrity and confidentiality of information that is produced, received and circulated within the framework of security projects
• Maximization of the reliability of its information resources
• Reduction of carbon dioxide emissions
• Improvement of energy efficiency
• Promotion of the use of renewable energy sources
• Implementation of sustainable waste and natural resource management practices, aiming to reduce the impact of the Company’s operation on the environment and climate change
• Collaboration with suppliers and other stakeholders to promote sustainable practices
The principles of the IMS as well as the objective goals for quality/information security are reviewed at regular intervals by the Company’s Management in order to adapt to the new needs of direct and indirect clients, legislative requirements as well as to achieve the goal of continuous improvement of the Company’s operations
Through the continuous reviews of the above, the Administration is in a continuous search to identify both human and logistical needs. The Administration is committed to providing the required resources to cover the needs, as they arise and are shaped by the existing situations, to the best of its abilities. In this direction, the Head of Quality and Information Security Department was appointed by Management, as its representative, on Quality and Information Security matters (hereinafter and throughout the documentation referred to as IMS Representative).
Management is committed to:
• Providing the required resources to meet the needs, to the maximum possible extent
• Compliance with the legislative and regulatory framework governing the Company’s operation
• Adoption of energy-efficient technologies and practices to reduce energy consumption in offices and use of renewable energy sources where possible
• Protection of personal data (personnel/clients) and information security in general
• Implementation of recycling programs and waste reduction
• Continuous search for necessary resources that will serve its commitment to continuous improvement, taking into account the impacts of climate change
Integration of sustainable practices into the Company’s operations
All departments of “Logistics Solutions” have the responsibility to respond to, absorb and implement the procedures required by the IMS through their daily activities.
It is also the responsibility of “Logistics Solutions” Management to ensure that the Quality/Information Security Policy is communicated, understood and applicable by the entire workforce of the Company, with the ultimate aim of continuous, stable development of its business activity with unwavering adherence to its principles and the continuous provision to its clients of services of excellent quality.
